This khukuri is originated form small village called Chainpur which lies in the eastern part of Nepal. This Khukuri has a beautiful blade and a unique handle beautifully carved Indian rosewood. The blade is made slimmer and lighter than the army types. This khukuri is not used for warfare’s but is used as decorative piece or as a domestic weapon by Gurkhas. This khukuri was crafted by highly skilled blacksmith of Eastern part of Nepal. This of Chainpure Khukuri and is mostly used for normal task. A hole in the blade is the trademark of Chainpur village and also symbolizes a footmark of a cow that is believed holy in Nepal. The base of the handle has eagle head design and The buffalo leather case is given the newer red Indian look and nicer touch too.
