This is high carbon steel  two chire (two fuller) dhankute churi knife. It has a remarkable ability to hold and serve you well in any situation. The blade measures 10” with handle 5″ long and it weighs 800  grams approximately. Blade is made from reinforced steel used in railway tracks, handle made with horn and the sheath is made from a horn.

This churi is orginate in Dhankuta. Dhankuta is a village located in Eastern part of Nepal and this type of Khukuri is made only in this village. People mostly use it as a decorative tool because of its elegant and delicate look therefore it is named as Dhankute decorative. This churi  kife is made very attractive. The craftsmen craft this  knife with symbols such as National Flag, Map and Pasupat Nath Temple on horn Scabbard.
